Please read on to learn more about your rights as well as what is expected of you as a buyer.

1. Understand the limitations of TaoShop.io as an e-commerce site

TaoShop.io provides an e-commerce site for buyers to explore and buy on the website. By shopping on TaoShop.io, you understand that:  

You are responsible if you provide your own documentation for a custom order.  

As a member of the community, you have the opportunity to flag an item or store that violates any of TaoShop's policies.io. The flag is a secret.  

2. Communicate with other TaoShop.io members 

Message  

You can use TaoShop.io's Message tool ("Messages") to communicate directly with other Tao Shop.io members. Messages are a great way to ask TaoShop any questions you have about an item or order. Messages are not used for the following activities:  

  1. Send unsolicited advertisements or promotions, donation requests or spam;  
  2. Harass or abuse another member or violate our Anti-Discrimination Policy ;  
  3. Contact someone after they have explicitly asked you not to do so;  
  4. Interference in transactions, business activities of TaoShop.io
  5. Exchange personal contact information, financial information or other information for the purpose of conducting transactions outside the platform, including telephone numbers, addresses, emails, social network accounts, external URLs, money transfer instructions, QR codes, etc.

When you buy from a store on TaoShop.io, you're directly supporting an independent business. TaoShop has its own lists, policies and processing times. By buying from TaoShop.io, you agree that you have:

  1. Read the store's product descriptions and policies before making a purchase;  
  2. Submitted the appropriate payment for the purchased item(s); and  
  3. Provides accurate shipping information to TaoShop. 

You also agree to comply with the TaoShop Gift Card, Credit & Coupon Policy.Our io when you buy or exchange TaoShop Gift Cards.io, TaoShop Credit.io or TaoShop Coupon.io.

When purchasing from TaoShop use TaoShop Payment.io, the buyer can authorize payment with any credit or debit card that is mainly provided by TaoShop.io accepts, by TaoShop.io Gift Card, Tao Shop.io Credit and TaoShop Coupon.io (subject to applicable limits. See TaoShop Gift Cards, Credits & Coupon Policy.io ), by certain bank transfer services, via PayPal (if available), Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna (if applicable).  

By using a third-party service, you may also be subject to an agreement with the third party. For example, PayPal is a third-party service provided by PayPal Holdings, Inc. the offer and your use of PayPal are subject to the PayPal User Agreement. Apple Pay is a third-party service provided by Apple Inc. provide and comply with the Apple Pay Terms and Conditions. Google Pay is a third-party service provided by Google Payment Corp. provide and comply with the Google Pay Terms of Service for users in the United States, non-US users and residents of India. The payment methods provided by Klarna are third-party services provided by the company Klarna Inc. provide to buyers and comply with Klarna 's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice.  

When purchasing from TaoShop only using PayPal, the buyer can only pay through PayPal. TaoShop.io may share your personal or transaction information with such third-party service providers for purposes related to payment processing. Your provider and payment processing time will vary depending on your country of residence. If there is insufficient funds in your bank account when our provider processes the payment for your purchase, TaoShop.io reserves the right to contact you directly and request payment.  

For the safety of our community and to avoid fraud and fraud, all transactions must take place through the TaoShop payment system.io and only transactions made through the TaoShop.io payment system are eligible for our case system (this does not include orders made through PayPal independently). It is strictly forbidden to share contact information or QR code for the purpose of conducting transactions outside the platform. If you need to discuss the details of your order with TaoShop, please keep your contact on the TaoShop platform.io (via Messages).  

4. Leave a review for an item

Reviews are a great way to learn about TaoShop items, help goods build a solid reputation or help warn other buyers about bad experiences. 

You can leave a review, including one to five star ratings and videos or photos of your purchase, within 100 days of the previous confirmed delivery date (where the shipping company's delivery records are available) or from the estimated delivery date of your item. If there is no expected delivery date, the review window will open after the order processing and shipping time has expired. If you purchase a digital item, you can leave a review within 100 days of the first download or within 12 months of the purchase date (whichever occurs first). You can edit your review, including videos or photos, any number of times during that 100 day period. Your reviews and/or videos or photos and public profile information will be publicly displayed on TaoShop listing and review pages. 

By leaving a review, video or photo, you acknowledge that your content may not violate our Create and Upload Policy in Section 5, except for the following:

  1. Contains defamatory language or images, adult or obscene or any content that complies with our adult content policy;  
  2. Relating to things beyond TaoShop's control, such as shipping companies, TaoShop.io or a third party;  
  3. Includes shilling or otherwise blows up a misrepresentation of the store's rating; or  
  4. Undermining the integrity of the evaluation system.  

By uploading videos or photos to one of the TaoShop.io websites or the Tao Shop.io mobile app, you ensure that:

  1. You own the content or you have the right or permission to use it; and  
  2. You understand that, as stated in TaoShop.io's Terms of Use, TaoShop.io is licensed to use any content you provide to TaoShop..io.  

TaoShop can also respond to reviews. TaoShop's feedback on reviews must also comply with this policy. TaoShop may report reviews that violate our Terms of Use. 
We reserve the right to remove reviews, videos or photos that violate our policies or our Terms of Use.

5. Create and upload content  

As a member of TaoShop.io, you have the opportunity to create and upload a variety of content, such as Messages, Text, Photos and Videos. To keep our community safe and respected, you agree that you will not upload any content: 

  1. Contains language or images of hostile or offensive nature or any content that complies with our Anti-Discrimination and Hate Speech Policy;  
  2. Contains threats, harassment, blackmail or violates our rules of intervention;  
  3. Violating the intellectual property rights of others;  
  4. Is false, deceptive or misleading;  
  5. Contains unsolicited advertising or promotions, donation requests or spam;  
  6. Contains personal information, whether it's your own or someone else's;  
  7. Encourage or facilitate off-platform trading ;  
  8. Contains claims of prohibited medical medicines; or  
  9. Incitement of minors under the age of 18;  
  10. Violating any of the rules described in our Forbidden Items Policy.  

Members are not allowed to use TaoShop services.io such as Messages, Favorites or Collections for improper use of compliant content, whether publicly or through contextualization. For example, this includes aggregating content for the purposes of juvenile pornography.

6. Report an order or return problem

TaoShop.io case system

Although TaoShop.io is not directly involved in the transaction between the buyer and TaoShop, we provide a case processing system in case your order does not go as expected and you cannot reach a solution with TaoShop. If you have an order issue, the first thing you need to do is contact TaoShop by choosing Order Help in the Purchases and Reviews section of your account. TaoShop will have 48 hours to try and solve the problem. After this period, you can use TaoShop.io's case processing system to warn Tao Shop.io of an unresolved order in case of non-delivery, damage or if the item you received is not as described in the list. These issues can be addressed by TaoShop.io's Purchase Protection Program. TaoShop.io will decide for itself whether or not the transaction is eligible under the Tao Shop.io Purchase Protection Program. TaoShop.io reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the program at any time, for any reason, and we will not be liable to you for the impact of any changes to the program on you. You have no legal claims under the TaoShop.io Purchase Protection Program. In the event that TaoShop.io does not refund you, this will not affect your claim against the TaoShop that you purchased. Your legal rights remain. 

By using TaoShop.io's case system, you understand that Tao Shop.io may use your personal information for the purpose of resolving disputes with other members. If you choose a refund as your preferred solution, remember that TaoShop.io only allows refunds on the platform for a period of 180 days after the transaction. After this 180 day deadline, TaoShop.io cannot support a refund on the platform for your order. However, you can still contact TaoShop directly for an off-platform solution. The refund issued by TaoShop.io will be in the form of your original payment and if such payment is not available then the credit will be granted.

TaoShop.io's purchase protection program

In many cases, order issues can be solved directly with TaoShop or can be returned according to TaoShop's return policy. However, we believe that you must always get the item you ordered or get your money back, so when those expectations are not met, TaoShop.I'll help you. Buyers can receive a full refund for purchases that never arrived, arrived late, were damaged or did not match the list description. 

If your order does not meet the following expectations, you may receive a full refund, including all taxes and shipping costs.

  1. Items delivered, and arrived as expected. Items must be shipped within the time specified by TaoShop and delivered to the address provided by the buyer, at the time of purchase on TaoShop.io, before the estimated delivery date. Updates about processing times or delivery addresses through Messages or other unofficial channels will not qualify for the TaoShop.io Purchase Protection program. Please note that if an item has already been shipped and has a tracking number, you can open a complaint by contacting the carrier directly. Items arriving late due to forces beyond the reasonable control of TaoShop, such as shipping strikes, natural disasters, war, civil unrest or similar irresistible events, determined by TaoShop.io at its sole discretion, will not be eligible for the purchase protection program of Tao Shop.io.  
  2. Items arrive intact and packaged to withstand handling during transportation.  
  3. Items that match the list description. The items received must not differ significantly from the description or picture of the list. We may ask the buyer to provide us with documentation to prove that the item has significant differences. Here are some examples of eligible situations:  
  • Received items are in color, pattern, version or other size.  
  • Products with different designs or materials.  
  • TaoShop does not disclose that the item is damaged or missing parts.  
  • The buyer receives the wrong quantity of items (e.g. the buyer buys three items but only receives two items).  
  • The advertised items are real but not real.  
  • The condition of the item is incorrectly presented (e.g. the item described as new but used).  

If TaoShop.io determines that the above expectations are not met, then either TaoShop or TaoShop will have to refund the order, including the initial shipping fee and return shipping. Depending on the specific case and whether a refund is requested, TaoShop.io may refund the refunded shipping costs in the form of Tao Shop.io Credits. Some exclusions apply, depending on the consideration of the TaoShop.io case system. The eligible buyer must have a registered account on TaoShop.io in good condition (which means that you do not violate any of Tao Shop.io's policies). Abuse of this program may result in the exclusion of the program at TaoShop.io's sole discretion.

Unqualified transactions 
Unless required by law, some disputes are not eligible for the TaoShop case system.io. Includes:

  1. Items that have been changed, used, worn, washed or discarded after receipt.  
  2. Items are returned without a return agreement.  
  3. The item was described accurately but did not meet the purchaser's expectations.  
  4. Dispute over shipping costs.  
  5. Items are purchased directly.  
  6. Transactions in which payments are not processed by TaoShop.io Payments, for example in external transactions or through independent PayPal.  
  7. Disputes under local warranty or refund laws applicable to TaoShop or its products  

Whenever an eligible case is submitted for TaoShop.io's consideration, we will evaluate the complaint to the best of our ability. Please be prepared to provide additional documentation if requested.

Cancel Request 

Only TaoShop can cancel the transaction. Buyers can ask TaoShop to cancel their order via Message. Please note that all cancellations are subject to our Anti-Discrimination Policy. 

Returns an item 

TaoShop has its own refund policy, which must be stated in their Store Policy. Not all TaoShop accept returns. To return digital items, please see theTaoShop list. 

If you are a resident of the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may enjoy a “reflection period” of 14 days or a “return right”, during which time you may return an item for any reason or without any reason. Read more about EU and UK withdrawal rights in this Help article.
